Hebron Republican Town Committee
Thank you from Hebron Republicans
Dear Supporters of Hebron Republicans:
Thank you for your overwhelming support at Hebron Harvest Fair! Our pulled pork sandwich sales were a great success, and we appreciate all of you who took the time to stop by our booth and get to know our candidates for the November 8 municipal elections.
As you know, this year Connecticut Republicans will be on Row B of the ballot due to a change in the party affiliation of the sitting governor. So please Vote Row B on November 8!
This will be a quiet election season in Hebron, with both town committees endorsing the required number of candidates to meet Connecticut’s statutes on “Rules of Minority Representation”. But there is one exception: the Zoning Board of Appeals. Our ZBA candidate, Kevin McDonnell, will face two Democratic opponents for one of the two open seats on that board.
We urge you to learn more about Kevin, and all of candidates, on our “Meet Our Candidates” link. Kevin is unique in his qualifications. He is a reasoned and reasonable man, and keeps the needs of Hebron in the forefront when making decisions. A Pratt & Whitney employee, Kevin has lived in many different towns and states, but he and his family have a unique history of always being involved in local community issues. When was the last time you saw the McDonnell’s at a town meeting without “K2” [Kevin Jr.] in tow? Last week?
Kevin and Loreta demonstrate the kind of values we all admire: teaching our children that community is an important part of any family’s life. Please consider voting for Kevin McDonnell for ZBA on November 8!
Also, I’m pleased to announce that the Hebron Republican Town Committee and the Hebron Democratic Town Committee chairmen have issued a joint statement regarding our mutual desire to work cooperatively over the next couple of years when Hebron will face many challenges in these tough economic times.
We all know that the time to get everything back on track is to work jointly and cooperatively – on the national, the state, and the local levels.
See you at the polls on Tuesday, November 8!
